Hasselblad, one of the Biggest names in Studio Photography has released the latest in its H4D line, the H4D-200MS. It is identical to the previous H4D-50MS, with one small sensor upgrade. 150 megapixels worth of an upgrade to be precise. But hey, don’t feel too bad if you have the previous H4D-50MS. Hasselblad will upgrade the sensor to the newer one, for a mere €7,000 [Taxes Extra].
It really is “mere” if you consider the cost of a brand new H4D-200MS is €32,000 [Taxes Extra]. It takes six shots and combines them to form 200 megapixel images, with very high detail and color reproduction. You can also use four-shot 50 megapixel mode if you are feeling a little less adventurous. Or a single shot 50 megapixel if you are in a hurry.
